"If I'd a garden full of mickeys I wouldn't let her look over the wall" : Ireland

In Ireland, that's is a colorful way to call someone unattractive.

Every culture seems to have a version of "the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree." In France, it's "les chats ne font pas des chiens" (quite literally, cats don't make dogs). In Ireland, "it's not off the stones he licked it" means the same.

In just a few days, we'll be in Ireland!
There's one pub for every 100 citizens.

We'll visit Shannon, Limerick, Bunratty castle and stay in Adare for the night. The next day we'll visit the Burren, Craggaunowen, and the Cliffs of Moher!

... Dingle peninsula, Ballybunion (there's a statue of Bill Clinton?), the beach at Connors pass, and stay in Dingle.

Well visit Killorglin, Killarney national park and the Gap of Dunloe for two days.

.....Stay in Kinsale for a night and see all the colored houses.

And drive through Cashel and Kilkenny en route to Dublin

This trip will be incredibly different from my study abroad, to say the least!
