A La Deriva is the Spanish term for "adrift". Un poco a la deriva means a little adrift.
Monday we went to the beach and had the best time!
Afterwards, we went to look for a grocery store while Shandy and Chris were at work. We walked and walked looking for one.
Afterwards, we had quite an experience carrying all of our food back... we could barely fit it all in our bags. The last piece we couldn't fit was an onion, of all things, so Ty tied it to the back of my backpack for the journey home.

We made a lunch to eat on the porch: tomatoes with mozzarella and basil, along with some peaches.
That night, we headed out to the beach, watched the sunset, and swam around some more. We began making a sand castle.
Tuesday we went to a ceramics store with Shandy. Everything was hand painted!
